In the near future, an enormous factory holds thousands of droids toiling in assembly lines. Supreme Leader Doctor Verlon has just been re-elected for another term during World War 4, which has divided Earth into two "Greater" and "Lesser" Halves. Chip, a young adult droid mutated with the capacity to feel human emotion, dreams of escaping Verlon’s master plan. With the help of Verlon’s robot assistant L.I., Chip defies her creator on a quest to liberate her fellow droids and discover true love.
